Additional Information: Call originally came in for a gas smell in the apartment building. In route, updates from dispatch said there was smoke in the hallway and some apartments. Upon fire crews arriving, they found multiple victims hanging from 2nd floor windows. Call was upgraded to a working still level to assist with fire and rescues. Multiple victims were rescued from ground ladders. Fire was extinguished in basement with no extension to living units. Red Cross is assisting with displaced residents.

Incident Description: Fire in a single family split level home. There was heavy fire coming from the attached garage upon the arrival of fire department units. Garage roof collapsed shortly after Fire Department arrival. Fire extended into the attic and living quarters of the house. One adult male occupant was transported to St. Mary’s hospital with smoke inhalation. Crews remain on scene overhauling and investigating the fire. Fire occurred at 17xx Murphy Drive. Fire was called in by the neighbor at 16xx Murphy Drive.
Cause of Fire: Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating on scene.
Origin of Fire: Garage area
Estimated Dollar Loss: $125,000 (Initial)
Injuries: One adult male occupant was transported for smoke inhalation
Number of People Displaced: One

Additional Information: There were also numerous propane and acetylene tanks in and around the garage that posed a hazard. The tanks needed to be cooled or removed from the area to alleviate the hazard. Crews remain on scene as of 04:15.

Cause of Fire: Under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office
Origin of Fire: First floor exterior patio.

Additional Information: Fire crews were dispatched for the report of a fire coming from an apartment on S Fisk St. On arrival of the first engine there was heavy fire showing from the first and second floor balconies with heavy smoke coming from the attic. Crews knocked the exterior fire down quickly and other crews performed searches of the entire building finding all occupants had self-evacuated. There was extensive damage to two second floor apartments with 2 lower units suffering major smoke and water damage. The other units suffered smoke damage. Building is untenable and all occupants are either staying with family or being assisted by Red Cross. GBMFD utilized MABAS and received assistance from DePere, Ashwaubenon, and Howard.

Additional Information: Green Bay Metro Fire Dept. units were dispatched at 4:02 PM to 650 Ravenswood Dr. for the report of a fire in the attached garage of a single family residence. The first units arrived in 3 minutes and found heavy smoke showing from the attached garage as well as the attic and soffit of the rest of the single story ranch home. Flames were visible from the rear of the garage. Crews made entry and had the fire knocked down in approximately 10 minutes. A search of the home showed all occupants had self-evacuated prior to Fire Dept. arrival. Crews remained on scene for approximately two hours to complete extinguishment and conduct salvage and overhaul operations. Investigation by the Green Bay Metro Fire Dept. Fire Marshal’s office determined the cause of the fire to be misuse of electrical extension cords in the garage. Fire damage to the garage and smoke damage to the rest of the structure is estimated at $60,000. No injuries were reported. Occupants are being assisted by the American Red Cross. Also assisting on scene were the Green Bay Police and Public Works Departments and Wisconsin Public Service.

(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is providing a tentative listing of construction projects scheduled in the region for calendar year 2016. The list includes state projects on interstates, the United States highway system, and the Wisconsin state highway system.
 
The Northeast Region includes the counties of Brown, Calumet, Door, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto, Outagamie, Sheboygan, and Winnebago.
 
Be advised that schedules are subject to change. Once construction has begun, updates on traffic impacts and construction progress will be available on WisDOT’s weekly construction advisory, distributed every Friday, tentatively set to begin in early March. NE REGION WIDE
Region Wide Deck Sealing

Description of work: Sealing of road decks will be performed in various locations in Calumet, Fond du Lac, Outagamie and Winnebago counties.

BROWN COUNTY
I-41 Reconstruction Project

WIS 96, Fox River Bridge
Location/limits: WIS 96, village of Wrightstown
Schedule: August 2014 to July 2016
Length of project: 0.5 miles
Description of work: This project includes the removal of the old Fox River Bridge in Wrightstown in 2016. After the removal of the bridge is completed, a river outlook will be constructed on the east river bank where the old bridge crossing was located. Roadwork will include the reconstruction of County Road ZZ (Washington St.) from Plum Creek Bridge north through the intersection of E. High St. and Washington St.; County Road MW (High St.) from the intersection of E. High St. and Washington St. to the east 250 feet and to the west 250 feet; County Road D (Main St.) from intersection of Cedar St. and Main St. north to the intersection of Main St. and Bridge St.; E. High St from the intersection of Main St. and E. High St. to the new cul de sac on the west river bank. Work will consist of retaining walls, storm sewer, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt pavement, signing, pavement marking, lighting and landscaping.
Traffic impacts: County Road ZZ and County Road MW will be closed for portions of spring and summer in 2016. Work on County Road D will be open to traffic in both directions, but will have traffic pattern changes to allow for staged construction. Many of the adjacent local roadways, including Bridge St. and E. High St., will be closed to through traffic at various times throughout the spring and summer of 2016 for reconstruction.
WIS 57, Riverside Drive pavement improvement
Location/limits: Randall Ave. to Grignon St.
Schedule: July 2016 to October 2016
Length of project: 3.4 miles
Description of work: The project is located on WIS 57 from the intersection of Randall Avenue in the city of De Pere to the north village limit of the village of Allouez in Brown County. The existing roadway pavement is in poor condition, and a full reconstruction project has been delayed to 2021. This project will serve as an interim pavement improvement to improve the ride enough to get to the reconstruct. The project will mill two inches and pave two inches for resurfacing. This project does not permanently address the pavement condition issue that is present. The project will include new signing, pavement marking, and inlet cover repairs.
Traffic impacts: The project will be completed under single lane closures. One lane in each direction will be open at all times. During the morning peak traffic hours, both northbound lanes will remain open. There may be some work occurring during the nighttime hours on the northern portion of the project (north of Allouez Ave).
 
WIS 172 and Webster Ave. Highway Safety Improvement Project (HSIP)
Location/limits: WIS 172 and Webster Avenue (Westbound connector ramp)
Schedule: October 2016 (Seven consecutive calendar days)
Length of project: 0.1 miles
Description of work: The proposed improvement will reconstruct the right turn island on the southbound approach on Webster Ave. to westbound WIS 172 and the associated right turn lane. The new island will remove the large sweeping curve and create an acceptable approach angle to the westbound on-ramp lane to WIS 172. The new geometry on the approach is expected to significantly reduce the right turn crashes and help motorists see conflicting traffic.
Traffic impacts: The WIS 172 westbound connector will be closed for seven consecutive days in October. A minimum of one lane for southbound traffic on Webster Avenue will remain open at all times. It is anticipated that both lanes of traffic on northbound Webster Ave. will remain open at all times. Traffic looking to utilize the WIS 172 westbound connector will find an alternate route using the local street system.
Green Bay Lift Bridges
Location/limits: WIS 29 (Walnut Street Bridge), US 141 (Main Street Bridge), WIS 54 (Mason Street Bridge) over the Fox River in the city of Green Bay
Schedule: September 2016 to July 2017
Length of project: On-bridge work
Description of work: The project will install equipment to provide the capability of future remote operation of the Mason Street Bridge and Main Street Bridge from the Walnut Street Bridge and upgrade the Main Street Bridge to current Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and cameras.
Traffic impacts: Single lane closures will be permitted from the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays to facilitate the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. During the initial work on the Main Street Bridge, full closures of US 141 will be permitted for up to two nights during weekday, nighttime hours (10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday) to open and close the bridge for field testing of the mechanical and electrical systems. Periodic closures of WIS 29, WIS 54, and US 141 will be permitted during weekday nighttime hours (10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday) to open and close the bridge for field testing of the mechanical and electrical systems. Equipment testing on any of the bridges will not occur at the same time.
 
Mason Street Bridge maintenance
Location/limits: WIS 54 (Mason Street Bridge)
Schedule: June 2016 to April 2017
Length of project: 1.2 miles
Description of work: The project includes repairs to the electrical and mechanical systems, repairs to the bridge tender house, and concrete surface repairs to some of the girders and piers. In addition, the signs on the bridge will be replaced with this project.
Traffic impacts: Traffic will be maintained for the duration of construction. Temporary closures of the outside lanes may be permitted for work on the adjacent sidewalks. The scope of work being performed does not warrant a detour and/or alternate route. The work will have minimal impact to the traveling public. The work has the potential to nominally impact marine navigation along the Fox River.
 
WIS 54 reconditioning
Location/limits: WIS 54/57 Interchange – East County Line
Schedule: June 2016 to October 2016
Length of project: 5.3 miles
Description of work: The project is located on WIS 54 from the WIS 54/57 interchange to the East County Line in Brown County. The pavement along this section of WIS 54 has deteriorated and is beyond its service life. The project will consist of pavement replacement, repairing concrete pavement, asphalt paving, upgrading multiple intersections, removal and replacement of beam guard, replacement of curb and gutter, replacement or repair of several cross culverts, permanent signing, and pavement markings.
Traffic impacts: The project will be completed under multiple detours during the duration of the project, however, local access will be maintained.

CALUMET COUNTY
US 151/E. Chestnut Street reconstruction
Location/limits: US 151 from S. Madison Street to Elm Street, in city of Chilton
Schedule: Summer 2016, 50 working days
Length of project: 0.14 miles
Description of work: Reconstruction of two lane roadway on US 151 from S. Madison Street to Elm Street in the city of Chilton. Replacing roadway pavement with new concrete pavement along with new water main, storm sewer, sidewalk, signing and pavement marking.
Traffic impacts: US 151 will be closed to through traffic during construction. Contractor will maintain access to local businesses, residents, and side road cross traffic throughout the project.
Detour: US 151 traffic will be detoured via WIS 32/57, East Breed Street, and Irish Road. WIS 32/57 will be detoured via Irish Road, US 151 and East Breed Street.
WIS 32 resurfacing
Location/limits: New Holstein to Chilton, Altona Ave. – US 151
Schedule: Summer 2016 – 30 working days
Length of project: 5.2 miles
Description of work: Work includes asphalt pavement milling, asphalt pavement resurfacing, gravel shoulders, rumble strip installation, signing, and pavement marking.
Traffic impacts: WIS 32 will be open to traffic. During milling/paving operations traffic may be reduced to one lane with flagging. Access will be maintained to local businesses, residents, and side road cross traffic throughout the project.
Door County
WIS 42 reconstruction
Location/limits: Country Walk Drive to Scandia Road, village of Sister Bay
Schedule: Spring 2016 to June 2016 (carry over project from 2015 construction)
Length of project: 0.8 miles
Description of work: Complete reconstruction of WIS 42. This is a carry-over construction project from 2015. 2016 construction work includes completion of sidewalks, colored cross walks, lighting, landscaping, pavement marking, and signing.
Traffic impacts: WIS 42 will be closed to southbound traffic during construction. WIS 42 will remain open in the northbound direction.
Detour: Detour will be in effect when construction restarts in spring. Detour will be Scandia Road to Woodcrest Road to Old Stage Road to WIS 57.
WIS 42/57 Bayview Bridge maintenance
Location/limits: Bayview Bridge, Sturgeon Bay
Schedule: March, 1 2016 to end of June 2016
Length of project: N/A
Description of work: Maintenance work on the Bayview Bridge and concrete overlays on the bridges over Green Bay Road.
Traffic impacts: Bayview Bridge is closed during maintenance.
Detour: Detour will be in effect during closures. Detour will follow Green Bay Road, Madison Avenue, Michigan Street, 3rdAvenue, Jefferson Street, and Egg Harbor Road. Truck detour will bypass downtown area via Michigan Street and 14th Avenue. Detour will remain in place through the end of June with traffic on WIS 42/57 open prior to 4th of July weekend.
WIS 42/57 reconstruction
Location/limits: Michigan Street to Egg Harbor Road
Schedule: Spring 2016 to July 2016
Length of project: 1.7 miles
Description of work: This project consists of a complete reconstruction of WIS 42/57 from Michigan Street to Egg Harbor Road. Project involves new concrete pavement throughout the corridor, a multi-lane roundabout at Michigan Street, a multi-lane roundabout at Egg Harbor Road, and access modifications at Alabama Street. 
Traffic impacts: WIS 42/47 closed from Bayview Bridge to Egg Harbor Road
Detour: This project incorporates the same detour as the Bayview Bridge maintenance project.   Detour will follow Green Bay Road, Madison Avenue, Michigan Street, 3rd Avenue, Jefferson Street, and Egg Harbor Road. Truck detour will bypass downtown area via Michigan Street and 14th Avenue. Detour will remain in place through the end of June with traffic on WIS 42/57 open prior to 4th of July weekend.
FOND DU LAC COUNTY
US 151 and County Road V intersection improvements
Location/limits: US 151 and County V intersection
Schedule: March 2016 to December 2016
Length of project: 1 mile
Description of work: The project involves replacing the at-grade US 151 and County V intersection with a partial cloverleaf interchange. A frontage road will be constructed connecting County V and US 45. Roundabout will be constructed at the County V/frontage road intersection, and at each of the interchange ramp terminals. The existing “jug handle” ramps at US 45 will be removed. Prairie Trail will be relocated from its current location to the north side of the frontage road. Work includes common excavation, borrow excavation, wick drains, base course, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, sign structures, bridge construction pavement marking and signing.
Traffic impacts: Traffic on US 151 will not be detoured during construction. There will be lane and shoulder closures during construction, but a minimum of one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Access at County V and US 45 will be maintained until the new interchange is opened in the fall of 2016. Beginning spring of 2016, access from southbound US 151 to southbound County V will be restricted. Once the interchange is open, US 45 will be closed at between Glynn Avenue and Valley Creek Road and detoured. A temporary trail will be constructed between the new bridge and US 151 to maintain connectivity for Prairie Trail.
Detour: Northbound US 45 detour begins in the village of Eden and runs northbound on County V to US 45 and is reverse for southbound.
US 151 and County Road T intersection improvements
Location/limits: US 151 and County T
Schedule: June 2015 – December 2016
Length of project: 0.76 Miles
Description of work: The existing at-grade US 151 and County T intersection will be replaced with an overpass with no direct access to US 151. Prairie Trail will be moved to go under the overpass structure with a connection to County T. Work includescommon excavation, borrow excavation, wick drains, base course, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, retaining wall, bridge construction, pavement marking and signing.
Traffic impacts: County T closed in July of 2015 for construction and will re-open in the fall of 2016. County T closed at Country Lane on the west side and at County K on the east side. Access to the County T residential properties west of US 151 will be maintained during construction.
 
US 151/WIS 23 intersection modifications
Location/limits: US 151/ WIS 23 Interchange
Schedule: June 2016 to July 2016
Length of project: 0.13 Miles
Description of work: This project involves intersection modifications to safely accommodate Oversize Overweight (OSOW) vehicles. Modifications to the southbound US 151 ramp at WIS 23 and westbound WIS 23 will be made to accommodate these movements. The work under this project includes grading, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, traffic signals, pavement marking and signing.
Traffic impacts: The project will be built in staged construction with lane closures on WIS 23.
WIS 175 culvert replacement
Location/limits: 1500 feet south of US 151, town of Fond du Lac/city of Fond du Lac
Schedule: September 2016 to October 2016
Length of project: 0.014 miles
Description of work: Improvements include replacement of two failing culvert pipes and retaining walls with a 60-inch culvert pipe. Work will also include grading existing shoulders and side slopes to eliminate beam guard.
Traffic impacts: The roadway will be detoured for the duration of construction.
Detour: Detour route will use County B to I-41 to US 151.
 
I-41 crack filling
Location/limits: Fond du Lac South County Line to WIS 26 interchange in Winnebago County
Schedule: TBD, work will last approximately 2 months
Length of project: 24 miles
Description of work: Crack filling and pavement marking on I-41 project limits.
Traffic impacts: I-41 may be reduced to one lane in each direction during off-peak traffic times.
MANITOWOC COUNTY
I-43 resurfacing and bridge overlays
Location: Between South County Line and WIS 310 in Manitowoc County
Schedule: April 2016 to November 2016
Length of project: 13.7 Miles
Description of work: This project involves milling off old pavement and resurfacing of 13.7 miles of I-43. This will include base patching of existing roadway, new concrete overlays on bridge decks including overpass structures, painting some of the steel bridge girders, beam guard replacements, signing and pavement marking.
Traffic impacts: I-43 will have lanes closures for the bridge and paving operations, one lane of I-43 will remain open at all times. There will be short-term, full closures of some of the overpass roadways and off-ramps to do base patching and paving.
MARINETTE COUNTY
US 141 reconstruction, village of Wausaukee
Location/limits: WIS 180 – village of Wausaukee limits
Schedule: May 2016 to June 2017
Length of project: 1.249 miles
Description of work: This work includes the reconstruction of US 141 through the village of Wausaukee. Work will begin south of the WIS 180 intersection and proceed north through Wausaukee to the North Village Limits. Work will include grading, base course, curb and gutter, asphaltic surface.
Traffic impacts: Southbound US 141 traffic will be detoured on village roads during the 2016 construction season. Parking will also be eliminated in the project limits.
Detour: Existing US 141 northbound traffic will remain on current alignment. Southbound US 141 will travel on US 141 to Division Street, to Tyler Avenue, then to 1st Avenue, and back to US 141 at WIS 180.
WIS 180 resurfacing, Marinette – Wausaukee
Location/limits: Marinette – County Road G
Schedule: May 2016 to November 2016
Length of project: 6.981 miles
Description of work: Work along this portion of WIS 180 will include resurfacing of WIS 180 in some areas, and the grading/pulverize and relay of the existing roadway in others. Work will also include additional paved shoulders and flattening existing side slopes. Items of work will include grading, base course, culverts, asphaltic surface, landscaping and pavement marking.
Traffic impacts: WIS 180 through traffic will be detoured.

WIS 180 resurfacing, Marinette – Wausaukee
Location/limits: County Road G – Fisher Road
Schedule: May 2016 to November 2016 (estimated)
Length of project: 20.409 miles
Description of work: This work on WIS 180 will include the milling and overlaying of the existing roadway from County G to County X. Minor intersection improvements at some side roads are planned. Work will include grading, base course, culverts, milling, asphaltic surface, and pavement marking.
Traffic impacts: Work will be done under traffic, but there may be delays during construction.
 
OCONTO COUNTY
US 41 resurfacing
Location/limits: US 141 to Krueger Quarry Road
Schedule: July 2016 to October 2016
Length of project: 7.9 miles
Description of work: The project is located on US 41 from the US 41/141 interchange to Krueger Quarry Road in Oconto County. The pavement along this section of US 41 is at its service life and in need of resurfacing. The project will consist of milling the existing surface of US 41 followed by the placement of a new layer of asphalt pavement. The project will also include upgrading beam guard, replacement or repair of several cross culverts, asphalt shoulders, aggregate shouldering, permanent signing, and pavement markings.
Traffic impacts: The project will be completed under traffic, utilizing lane closures and shoulder closures. One lane of US 41 will remain open in both directions for the duration of the project.
 
OUTAGAMIE and CALUMET COUNTY
WIS 441/US 10 pavement repairs
Note: This work is independent of the ongoing WIS 441 construction
Location/limits: WIS 441/US 10 – North Junction of I-41
Schedule: Beginning of April, 2016
Length of project: 5.6 miles
Description of work: Work includes concrete pavement panels repairs, replacing the asphaltic shoulders, upgrading beam guard, clearing hazards from within the clear zone, flattening of the side slopes on the median crossovers, and installing curb ramp detectable warning fields at the County CE trail under WIS 441. On the north side of the Fox River, under the WIS 441 Fox River Bridge, an existing, storm sewer outfall will be extended to prevent erosion. This project will also be replacing signing and pavement marking, installing law enforcement pads along WIS 441, new traffic signals at County CE and County OO, new light fixtures at the North Junction, and Intelligent Transportation System equipment throughout the project limits. In addition, County OO will have pavement joints repaired and a 2-inch asphalt overlay placed between the WIS 441 ramps.
Traffic impacts: Traffic impacts will be limited to single lane and ramp closures during nighttime hours. Other work conducted during daytime hours would be offline/shoulder work with shoulder closures.
 
 
OUTAGAMIE COUNTY
WIS 187 resurfacing
Location/Limits: Shiocton, WIS 54 to north county line
Schedule: May 2016 to August 2016
Length of project: 9.8 miles
Description of work: Work includes cold in-place recycling of existing pavement, asphalt pavement resurfacing, gravel shoulders, signing, pavement marking and culvert replacements.
Traffic impacts: WIS 187 will be detoured. Access will be maintained to local businesses, residents, and side road cross traffic throughout the project.
Detour: WIS 187 access is via WIS 54, WIS 47, and WIS 156.
WIS 15 and Casaloma Drive intersection, town of Grand Chute
Location/limits: WIS 15 and Casaloma Drive intersection
Schedule: Fall 2016
Length of project: 0.7 miles
Description of work: Highway Safety Improvement Project (HISP) work involves the reconstruction of the northbound and westbound right turn lanes at the intersection, along with new traffic signals, and shared-use path construction.
Traffic impacts: Project will be constructed under traffic with nighttime lane closures on WIS 15 and short-term restrictions on turning movements in the northbound and westbound right turn lanes. Access will be maintained to local businesses, residents, and side road cross traffic throughout the project. Some intersection turning movements may be restricted for durations up to 1 week.

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY
WIS 23 fencing, Plymouth – Sheboygan Falls
Location/limits: WIS 67 – WIS 32
Schedule: April 2016 to July 2016
Length of project: 8.22 miles
Description of work: This project will erect fencing along the right of way in the project limits. Street lighting will also be put up at the County Road M intersection.
Traffic impacts: All traffic lanes will remain open to traffic, but drivers may encounter shoulder closures.
 
WIS 32, city of Sheboygan Falls
Location/limits: WIS 32 and Happy Lane intersection
Schedule: 40-working days, TBD
Length of project: 0.25 miles
Description of work: This project will construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of WIS 32 and Happy Lane.
Traffic impacts: WIS 32 will be closed to through traffic and detoured. Temporary access roads will be provided in the northwest and northeast quadrants of the intersection to provide local access between Happy Lane and WIS 32 to the north. A temporary access road will also be provided in the southeast quadrant of the intersection to provide local access between Green Acres Drive and WIS 32 to the south.
Detour: WIS 28 to WIS 57 to WIS 23 to get back to WIS 32 and reverse.
 
WIS 28 reconstruction, Sheboygan Falls – Sheboygan
Location/limits: Prange Road – Taylor Drive
Schedule: Mid-April 2016 to October 2016
Length of project: 0.49 miles
Description of work: This project will reconstruct the median-divided portion of WIS 28 through the interchange (including the Taylor Drive intersection), reconstruct the bottom portion of the ramps, overlay the westerly transition of WIS 28 from 4 to 2 lanes with new asphaltic pavement, replace the existing asphaltic shoulders with new asphaltic pavement between I-43 and Prange Road, provide new traffic signals and lighting at County A, the ramp termini, and Taylor Drive, and provide a new sidewalk on the south side of WIS 28 from the Deer Trace entrance to Greenwing Drive.
Traffic impacts: WIS 28 will remain open to traffic, but will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Both southbound ramps and the northbound off-ramp will be closed while they are being constructed, but detours will be provided for those closures. The northbound on-ramp will be closed for two nights, and a detour will not be provided for that closure. County A and Taylor drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction during much of the project, and each intersection will have frequent turning movement restrictions.
Detour: When the southbound off-ramp is closed, traffic on I-43 southbound traffic will be rerouted to WIS 28 via WIS 23. When the southbound on-ramp is closed, WIS 28 traffic will be rerouted to I-43 southbound via South Business Drive, County OK, and County V. When the northbound off-ramp is closed, I-43 northbound traffic will be rerouted to WIS 28 via County V, County OK, and South Business Drive.
WIS 28 (14th Street/Sheboygan River Bridge), city of Sheboygan
Location/limits: Sheboygan River Bridge
Schedule: Ongoing work from 2015. Complete prior to June 2016.
Length of project: 0.07 miles
Description of work: This is continuing work from the new bridge project in 2015. Staining of the new bridge’s parapets, lighting work, and landscaping touch-up.
Traffic impacts: WIS 28 will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

WIS 116 resurfacing
Location/limits: city of Omro – village of Winneconne
Schedule: late June 2016 to October 2016
Length of project: 4.65 miles
Description of work: This project involves milling and resurfacing of WIS 116 between the Omro and Winneconne, replacement of one box culvert, and beam guard upgrades.
Traffic impacts: Work will be completed in two stages:

 

  • Stage 1 – WIS 116 will be closed to traffic and detoured during the replacement of the box culvert (roughly 75% of duration).
  • Stage 2 – During remainder of the project (roughly 25% of duration), WIS 116 will be restricted to one lane during daytime hours, and traffic will be controlled by flagging. Normal traffic will be restored for nighttime hours.

 

Detour: Detour route will follow WIS 116 to County F, then north on County F to County D, then east on County D back to WIS 116.
